Description
Frauscher Advanced Platform FAdP
The Frauscher Advanced Platform FAdP is the single, modular hardware and software foundation for wayside object control – EULYNX and cyber-secure by design. It unites SIL 4-certified application units with a shared connectivity and power infrastructure, enabling point control, train detection and I/O object controllers to be deployed, managed and upgraded from one common base. Security and connectivity updates are applied via the Frauscher Connect Device FCD, fully independent of the certified safety logic – supporting operational lifecycles of 30 years and beyond.
Key benefits
- ~70% of components shared across object controller types
- 60–80% cabinet footprint reduction versus separate installations
- SIL 4-certified, designed for 30+ year operational lifecycles
- Suitable for greenfield and brownfield applications
- PDI Stacking: multiple object controllers via a single RaSTA connection to the interlocking
- Legacy migration path: IP-based control without changes to existing interlocking logic
- Supports EULYNX and interlocking vendor protocols in parallel
