Multi-Element Object Controller for distributed systems
Mipro OCS (Object Controller System) is a modular field control platform designed for modern railway signalling architectures. The system provides two types of controllers for centralised and distributed architectures.
The Multi-Element Controller is designed mainly for distributed architectures. Its compact deployment concept allows it to be installed close to trackside equipment, including in wayside cabinets. The Multi-Element Controller is based on the HIMA HIMatrix safety PLC platform. A single Multi-Element Controller can control several elements of the same type.
Key Benefits
- The Multi-Element Controller can be used in an unheated wayside cabinet in accordance with EN 50125-3, class T1.
- The Multi-Element Controller provides a flexible solution for applications where a limited number of field elements need to be controlled locally. For example, a single controller can control one or two signals located between stations using the EULYNX SCI-LS interface.
- The Multi-Element Controller supports a wide range of deployment scenarios—from highly centralised field control installations to distributed wayside architectures.
