Indian Railways joining EULYNX as Associate Member

The EULYNX Consortium is pleased to announce that Indian Railways, one of the world’s largest railway networks, is joining the consortium as an Associate Member.

This new collaboration, formalised between the Ministry of Railways (through the Research Designs and Standards Organisation – RDSO) and EULYNX, marks an important step in expanding international cooperation on the standardisation of railway signalling systems.

As part of the agreement, Indian Railways will participate in selected EULYNX working groups and technical discussions, contributing to the development of harmonised signalling interface specifications. The cooperation also supports Indian Railways’ broader goals to modernise its signalling systems through the adoption of modular, open architectures.

By joining EULYNX, Indian Railways will gain access to a proven suite of specifications that facilitate flexible, cost-effective, and future-ready signalling solutions—contributing to greater interoperability and more sustainable infrastructure renewal.
