PSSrail System – EULYNX Platform
The PSSrail System from Pilz is a modular and SIL4- designed to meet the evolving demands of modern railway signalling infrastructure. Fully compliant with EULYNX specifications, it enables seamless integration and digitisation of railway systems through RaSTA-based communication and supports migration to uniform signalling protocols.
Engineered for flexibility, the PSSrail Platform serves as a universal system for a wide range of railway applications, including point control, signal control, train detection systems, level crossings (stand alone and external), and electronic interlocking. Its modular architecture allows tailored configurations to meet specific and national requirements, making it suitable for both new installations and retrofit projects.
The system is built around robust hardware components, including central and decentral head modules, power supplies, and a variety of failsafe and non-safe I/O modules. These include and analog inputs/as well as CAN-based communication interfaces, ensuring reliable and scalable deployment across diverse signalling environments.
Certified up to Safety Integrity Level 4 (SIL4) and compliant with relevant EN railway standards, the PSSrail Platform guarantees high levels of operational safety and reliability. Its certified application blocks include dedicated EULYNX subsystems for Point (P), Generic IO (IO), Level Crossing (LC), and Train Detection System (TDS), along with the SCI Gateway for RaSTA-based communication with NeuPro and EULYNX systems.
