Description
EULYNX SCI-CC Gateway
Relesoft EULYNX Gateway is a plug-and-play configurable protocol conversion module that converts any protocol to EULYNX. It is ideal for infrastructure managers or OEM signalling suppliers who need to implement EULYNX by adding a conversion layer over their existing legacy systems. While it can handle other protocol conversions, its original purpose was EULYNX SCI conversion, and it is most effective in projects where EULYNX is part of the requirements.
Key Design Principles and Benefits
- Flexible with extensive configuration
- Installable by a field technician
- Transparent to easily locate issues
- Safe with comprehensive pre-validation and safety checks
- Can be installed in 2oo2 redundant setup
- Implemented and documented according to DIN_VDE_RaSTA_0831-200, EN_50126:2017, EN_50716:2023 and EN_50129:2018
- Safety level SIL0-SIL4, Configurable to meet national interlocking requirements and deployable on standard industrial PC-based hardware or tailored SIL 4 safety computers.
Simple commissioning and configuration
The system is configured using a human-readable and documented format. If needed, it can be configured under operation.
Verified compliance
Automated verification ensures EULYNX Gateway always meets system requirements. Each component is tested individually and as part of the whole system. The complete system can always be simulated before deployment.
Source code is available
Full access to the source code allows independent review, updates, and configuration.
Comprehensive documentation
The documentation covers all necessary knowledge for commissioning, configuration, and maintenance.
Proven Delivery Reference
EULYNX Gateway was successfully deployed in Finland’s POKA project for the Finnish Transportation Infrastructure Agency (FTIA) contracted by GRK Infra Oyj. The project involved enabling EULYNX SCI-CC protocol communication between TMS and a total of 55 relay interlockings. The project began with IO configuration mapping against protocol counterparts, with total system delivery costing approximately 20k€ per interlocking (including architecture, development and documentation). Devices were prepared for contractor and field engineer complete with installation and configuration instructions. Testing followed a structured plan including FAT/SIT/SAT phases, with maintenance services available upon request after commissioning.
