Section of track that must be proven vacant for safe train operations. Vacancy proving is accomplished either by a TDS or by procedure. <br/><br/>

Details:
A TVP section is linear except when it spans a point or crossing. Area and linear locations both relate to one or more RSM associated net elements, so the TVP section is always located at an area location. <br/>TDS components such as joints and axle counters are situated at the ends of the section and data engineers should beware that the spot location of these detectors don't conflict with the location of the TVP section.<br/>Note that the section can have an application direction.<br/><br/>
